- 12 jumbo pasta shells
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until they are al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, cream cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir until well blended.
- Carefully fill each shell with the cheese mixture.
- Spread a layer of marinara sauce in the bottom of a baking dish, about half a cup.
- Place the stuffed shells in the baking dish and cover with the remaining marinara sauce.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- If desired, garnish with fresh basil before serving.
Notes
You can assemble the stuffed shells ahead of time and keep them in the fridge. Also, feel free to try different sauces or add vegetables for extra flavor.
