Ingredients
Scale
- 1 small loaf of sourdough or French bread
- 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 cup artichoke hearts, chopped
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cut the top off the loaf of bread and hollow out the inside, leaving enough bread at the bottom to create a sturdy bowl.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, garlic, chopped spinach, artichoke hearts, salt, and pepper. Mix well until fully incorporated.
- Fill the hollowed-out bread bowl with the spinach-artichoke mixture, packing it generously.
- Place the bread bowl on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Serve warm with the leftover bread pieces for dipping and enjoy!
Notes
For extra flavor, try adding a splash of lemon juice to the filling. If your cream cheese is too cold, microwave it for 10-15 seconds to soften it.
