- 4 medium potatoes, sliced
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1 cup crispy fried onions
- 1 onion, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef with the chopped onion over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
- In a large baking dish, layer the sliced potatoes and the ground beef mixture.
- Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Top with shredded cheese and sprinkle crispy fried onions on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the cheese is melted.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
