A cozy and filling casserole that combines pierogies and kielbasa, making it perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients

- 1 package of cheddar pierogies (freezer aisle)
- 1 can creamy chicken broth (or vegetable broth)
- 1 package savory kielbasa (try turkey or beef kielbasa for a non-pork option)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 onion, chopped (optional)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Layer the frozen cheddar pierogies at the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Slice the kielbasa and layer it over the top of the pierogies.
- In a bowl, mix the creamy chicken broth with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Pour it over the layered ingredients in the slow cooker.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours, until pierogies are tender.
- Just before serving, stir gently to combine everything nicely.
Notes
Serve with a dollop of sour cream and fresh herbs on top for added flavor.
