Description
A creamy and cheesy chicken dish made in the crockpot, perfect for busy families and versatile enough to serve over rice, in sandwiches, or on its own.
Ingredients

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 8 strips cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
- Add the cream cheese and ranch seasoning on top of the chicken.
- Cook on low for 360 to 480 minutes or on high for 180 to 240 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through.
- Shred the chicken using two forks and mix it with the cream cheese and seasoning in the crockpot.
- Stir in crumbled bacon and shredded cheddar cheese until melted and combined.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve over rice, in sandwich buns, or alone, garnished with chopped green onions.
Notes
For a lighter version, use reduced-fat cream cheese or Greek yogurt. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for 3-4 days or frozen for up to three months.
