Description

A creamy and indulgent chicken dish that’s quick to prepare, perfect for a weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Slice the chicken breasts in half horizontally or pound them to an even thickness. Season both sides with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear the chicken until golden and cooked through, about 4–5 minutes per side.
  3. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside. Lower the heat, add the butter and minced garlic, and sauté until fragrant, about 1–2 minutes.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream while stirring to deglaze the skillet. Add the grated Parmesan cheese and simmer until the sauce thickens, about 3–5 minutes.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet. Simmer for an additional 2–3 minutes to heat through and coat with the creamy sauce.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes. This dish can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
