- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs, room temperature
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- ½ cup milk
- 1 cup vanilla buttercream frosting
- Holiday sprinkles or crushed peppermint candies
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 12-cup muffin tin. Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, beat butter and sugar until creamy; beat in eggs and vanilla. Alternate adding dry mix and milk until just combined.
- Divide batter among liners. Bake 17–19 minutes until tops spring back or a toothpick comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes; transfer to a rack to cool completely.
- Frost with buttercream and finish with sprinkles or crushed peppermint.
Notes
Dairy-free: plant butter + oat milk. Gluten-free: use 1:1 GF flour; add 1 tbsp milk if thick. Storage: airtight up to 4 days; freeze unfrosted up to 2 months.
