Ingredients

  • 3 ripe pears, halved and cored
  • 75 grams crumbled feta cheese (about ½ cup)
  • 30 milliliters olive oil or melted butter (2 tablespoons)
  • 30 grams dried cranberries (about ¼ cup)
  • 30 milliliters honey (2 tablespoons)
  • 1 gram ground cinnamon (about ½ teaspoon)
  • Fresh thyme leaves, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Brush the cut sides of the pear halves with olive oil or melted butter.
  3. Arrange the pears cut-side up in the prepared baking dish and sprinkle lightly with ground cinnamon.
  4. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until tender but still holding shape.
  5. Remove from the oven and top each pear half with crumbled feta cheese and dried cranberries.
  6. Drizzle the pears with honey and garnish with fresh thyme leaves if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

For added flavor, infuse honey with ginger or chili flakes. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
