- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup teriyaki sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooked rice or noodles for serving
- Optional: chopped green onions and sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
- In a separate bowl, combine the teriyaki sauce, honey, minced garlic, and grated ginger.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
- Shred the chicken with two forks and stir it back into the sauce.
- Serve over cooked rice or noodles, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days or frozen for up to 2 months.
