Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice or noodles for serving
  • Optional: chopped green onions and sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine the teriyaki sauce, honey, minced garlic, and grated ginger.
  3. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  6. Shred the chicken with two forks and stir it back into the sauce.
  7. Serve over cooked rice or noodles, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days or frozen for up to 2 months.
