Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 Chick-fil-A-style chicken nuggets (or homemade crispy chicken pieces)
  • 4 large eggs
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup frozen tater tots or hash browns
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 tablespoon butter (for cooking eggs)

Optional Add-ons:

  • ¼ cup diced bell peppers
  • ¼ cup diced onions
  • Hot sauce or salsa for serving

Instructions

Cook the Hash Browns

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake the tater tots or hash browns for about 15-20 minutes until crispy.
  2. Alternatively, air-fry at 375°F for 10 minutes, shaking halfway.

2. Cook the Chicken Nuggets

  1. If using frozen nuggets, bake them according to package instructions.
  2. If using homemade nuggets, fry or bake them until golden and crispy.
  3. Cut them into bite-sized pieces for easy burrito assembly.

3. Scramble the Eggs

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper until frothy.
  2. Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Pour in the eggs and cook, stirring occasionally, until they are soft and fluffy.

4. Assemble the Burritos

  1. Warm the tortillas in the microwave for 15-20 seconds to make them pliable.
  2. Evenly divide the scrambled eggs, chicken nuggets, hash browns, and shredded cheeses among the tortillas.
  3. Fold the sides inward and roll tightly into a burrito.

5. Toast the Burritos (Optional for Extra Crispiness)

  1. Heat a dry skillet over medium heat.
  2. Place each burrito seam-side down and toast for 1-2 minutes per side, until lightly golden.

6. Serve & Enjoy

  1. Cut in half and serve with your favorite sauces, like Jalapeño Salsa or Creamy Salsa Dressing.

Notes

  • For Spicy Flavors: Add diced jalapeños or a drizzle of hot sauce inside the burrito.
